Our healthy and nutritious organic meat is marketed by the co-operative for quality meat production »Weidehof w.V.« in Hohen Wangelin. From there, manufacturers of branded articles like the baby food manufacturer HIPP and the retail chain Edeka Minden are supplied directly with meat and organic meat products. As a growing number of renowned companies can not dispense with an ecological image upgrading of their products, a business relationship started in 2001 between the »Gut Darß« farm and McDonalds. Because organic and fast food until then were as mutually exclusive as happy free-range chickens and laying battery hens, neither the Federal Minister for Consumer Protection Künast, nor the Agricultural Minister of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern wanted to miss this occasion.
